Clever Marine Services is an Isle of Man based marine and offshore service provider. Established in 2009 our dedicated team which extends to a network of up to 300 marine experts are prepared to tackle any marine or offshore problem you may have.
Our marine service team offers our clients qualifications as Marine Engineers & Mechanics, Master Mariners, Superintendents, Surveyors and NDT Technicians with over 20 years’ experience in the Marine Industry.
We are approved Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM) providers by the 5 leading IACS Class Societies (DNV GL, ABS, RINA and BV) and our staff is qualified in NDT Technologies. Our core team currently holds qualifications to carry out Crack, Lamination and Material inspections with LPI, MPI as well as UT.
We can work to standards specified by clients or can provide ISO, EN, BS standards for the applicable test. This gives us the flexibility required to work UTM & NDT testing in different industries.
Our marine spare parts team offers over 20 years’ experience and knowledge with a broad variety of machinery and good relationship with manufacturers.

Our Experience
Over 100 Marine Engine Overhauls or Repairs Since 2009
Our experienced team of marine engineers and marine technicians have carried out over 100 engine overhauls or repairs on marine diesel engines since Clever Marine Services Ltd was founded in 2009.
In the same time our Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) teams have carried out over 90 UTM Surveys for class purposes and several NDT tests in accordance to the requested standards.
Clever Marine Services has also completed Project Management & Superintendence incl. CAD Drawings for several ship conversions, Engine renewals and steel repairs and Consultancy projects concerning ISM, ISPS, ILO and vessel/port facility suitability studies. Our Surveyors have carried out a vast amount of Condition/Pre-Purchase surveys, several owners/managers representations in insurance cases and ships evaluations.
