UT wall thikness measurement

Our company is approved by Germanischer Lloyd Class Society to carry out Ultra Sonic Wall Thickness Measurement for Class Survey and Repair purposes. Our employees are trained as UT Supervisors in accordance to ISO Standard 9712 Level II and as UT operators in accordance to Level I standards. Our employees are also experienced Marine Engineers and can use their skills to prepare exact repair specifications as well as the UT Reports required for Class renewal or survey.

Our teams are completely independent and not attached to a particular shipyard. We can join the vessel well in advance and can take most of the Measurements required by class before your vessel arrives in the Dry Dock. This gives you the advantage that you are able to quote for exact steel exchange requirements.

We are using the latest UT Wall Thickness Measurement Equipment from SONOWALL which allows us, due to its multiple echo technology, to measure the wall thickness without destroying the protective coating.
