Pre-purchase and condition survey
All our Superintendents have at least 6 years experience in Ship Management and were in charge of a fleet of Container Ships, Mini Bulkers and General Cargo vessels, for a medium sized Ship Management Company. During this time we have gained vast experience in pre-purchase surveys and conditions surveys. We have carried out over 20 pre-purchase surveys for our clients and at least 100 condition surveys.
We are also able to carry out such surveys in conjunction with possible yard and repair specifications and estimates. We are used to pre-purchase survey a vessel with the possible cost implication of may needed improvements and repairs in mind. We are also used to survey vessels with close to or more than 20 years of age and preparing an economical driven estimate of necessary updates.
We are also preparing our condition surveys including a list of suggested priorities of the required improvements which can be used as guidance for the crew and control tool for the vessel’s Superintendent or Manager.
