Barthels + Lüders
Barthels + Lüders GmbH was founded in 1875 as a small steel and copper forge at Steinwerder – an island in the Elbe river – just opposite the city of Hamburg.
Sailing ships, coming from South America with fertilizer, where the first marine customers.
Since the demise of the last member of the “Lüders Family“, Barthels + Lüders GmbH was integrated into the Blohm + Voss Group of Companies and continued its activities on an independent and self-supporting basis. The principles of business policy today are the same as more than a hundret years ago.

Manx Ocean Crewing
We are recognised and certified by the Isle of Man Ship Registry as a ship management company.
The Group’s Main Office is located in Port St. Mary, in the south of the Isle of Man, and currently employs 12 people.
We also have an affiliate company, Ocean Marine Management GmbH, formed in 1999. The company is based in and operates from Germany. This ensures compliance with tonnage tax regulations with respect to crewing management for German beneficial ship owners.
Both Manx Ocean Crewing and Ocean Marine offer complementary services primarily aimed at assisting ship owners to realise the inherent advantages of 'one contract' economic crewing, vessel management and registration.
GBS-Shipmanagement
The GBS-Shipmanagement GmbH & Co. KG company operates and manages vessels in full- and partmanagement. We offer fulfillments from the conceptual design to financing and full operation of your vessels in cooperation with our partners.
